Anxiety Treatment in Nashville

Lauren (she, her, they) has a passion for working with clients who are struggling with depression, anxiety, and life’s difficulties. She believes in establishing a safe, non-judgmental space for clients to feel supported in. Her approach to therapy is to build a relationship with clients that is built on trust, acceptance, and unconditional positive regard.

Lauren is a student intern therapist currently working towards earning her master’s degree at Northwestern University. Using a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered Therapy, she will take an empathetic, evidence-based approach to help people explore and grow to achieve a positive therapeutic experience.

Lauren’s passion for helping others led her to begin her studies in Psychology. Along the journey she even studied psychology abroad in Tanzania and climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro. She is originally from Georgia, but now calls Nashville her home. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, sports, cooking, dogs, traveling, and spending time with friends and family.

Specialties: Ages 11-60 – dealing with issues of Anxiety, OCD, Eating Disorders, and Mood Disorders.
